PH Coffee
PH Coffee is a unique coffeeshop tucked away in north east Kansas City. It is a little bit out of the way location wise, I have to drive about 20 minutes to get there, but what keeps bringing me back is their vegan burritos and their refreshing environment. One of my close friends showed me this spot and once I tried their burrito I was hooked. The inside is spacious with tables lined up and down the the center of the shop. They almost remind me of the lunch tables we used to have as a kid. The design of the interior is very clean but still has a homey feel to it with local stickers hers and posters covering some of their walls. It's a place that I have frequented with some friends to get work done. The atmosphere in there is never too busy or distracting and the baristas there are always super nice and welcoming. They are always happy to tell you about any of their drinks. There is also plenty of natural light coming in so its a supreme spot to study if you still want to see the light of the outside instead of being cooped up indoors. Its really nice because although there are lots of tables it feels very communal. This time around, I of course got one of their vegan burritos and an almond milk macchiato. They where both so delicious. Their burrito was made with a vegan soy chorizo base and it had veggies and black beans as well. The almond milk macciado was a little more fruity in flavor but the almond milk was enough to mellow it out. It was overall really delicious. I highly recommend coming here in the fall or spring if you want to get your study on but also get some good food and coffee.
